The artwork is pinned to a foam board substrate.

The artwork is first laced across the shorter of the axis first.

Then across the longer axis.  Once this is completed the artwork is then gently adjusted so it fits neatly around the substrate

The glass is placed in the frame then a 6mm Econospace spacer is fitted.

Foam board batons are fitted around the laced artwork to hold everything securely.

Here is a detail shot of the internal construction of the frame before it was closed behind a backing board of Art-Bak, pinned in place and sealed with Sekisui 504 sealing tape.

The client kindly sent in a picture of the finished job in its new home.  Picture credit GEW
